2014 RECAP

Hey ladies and gents!!!

So 2014 started out kind of bad for me, in the beginning of the year I had surgery done to remove a cyst. It was the most horrible feeling in the world, and this is going to be TMI but I couldn't sit for about two weeks after that surgery. Once January passed the next 2 months were awesome, I got engaged in March to my love. It was so sweet how he asked, just us 2 having dinner at home talking about how happy we are with each other and he just got down on one knee and asked me. After that the next couple of months were pretty quiet for me, I started to get into my blog even more which I'm happy I did cause my followers keep growing and I'm greatful for that. I also turned 30 in August which I accepted with grace, from then on everything has been quiet. Instead of going out tonight I'm going to be home with my son and my love, but for those who are going out please be safe and enjoy your night into the New Year.

I'm so looking forward to next year to see what it have in store for me, I'm not going to sit here and say I have a New Years resolution but I'm gonna have an open mind to accept whatever comes along. With that said I hope guys had a wonderful year and I thank you ladies and gents once again for following me and boosting my confidence to continue doing what I'm doing.

Birthday/welcome home!!!!

So yesterday me and the fam decided to go out for my moms birthday and also welcome home my little bro from his study abroad travels. My mom was so excited because she had all her kids and her grandson around her to celebrate. We had such a wonderful time laughing and hearing about the adventures my brother had while in Costa Rica. I wouldn't mind taking a visit out there, I took a few photos cause we just wanted to spend the rest of the evening with each other.

CHRISTMAS TAG!!!!

Hey ladies and gent!!!

Long time no post, but today I figured that I would do a post for this holiday that's slowly approaching. You already know what holiday it is and if you don't get up from under that rock and check your calendar its literally 6 DAYS away. OMG 6 freaky days away eek, so any way I am doing the Christmas tag (YAY, the crowd is going wild) only in my mind lol. So here goes

Q 1. What is your favorite Christmas movie(s)?

I LOVE Home Alone 1&2, every year you can count on me watching those two, and also Dr. Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas Jim Carey is hilarious in that movie.

Q 2. Do you open your present on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

The family opens everything on Christmas morning, but we get to chose one gift for Christmas Eve after dinner.

 Q 3. Do you have a favorite Christmas Memory?

My sons first Christmas, he was so adorable trying to open his first gift with my little sisters. Just seeing him smile made that extra special for me and will forever be imprinted on my heart.

Q 4. Favorite festive food?

My favorite thing is my mom making curry goat, its not really a festive food but I love it. We are from Jamaica so we just cook whatever.

Q 5. Favorite Christmas gift?

It was 1992 and my mom got me my first ever game system, she bought me a Sega Genesis with Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I actually still had the system until I was 18

Q 6. Favorite Christmas scent?

I love the smell of peppermint and fresh garland.

Q 7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

I actually don't anymore, the older I got the less traditional I got.

Q 8. What tops your tree?

Its sad to say that this Christmas I didn't a tree up, but still in the Christmas spirit.

Q 9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

As I'm sitting here thinking about this question nothing came to mind really, sorry.

Q 10. Whats the best part about Christmas for you?

Spending it with my family eating and teasing my little sisters, cracking jokes. After all that just sitting on the couch watching a movie eating desserts until we are so full that we pass out.

A change of hair!!!

So I went from this all black color too!!

This!!! I am so loving this new color and I'm going to be sticking with it for a long time.

Hey ladies and gents!!

So I was on YouTube today and Sami aka beauty crush, do a tag called the Me-Time tag. So I figured I would give it a go and answer the questions, so here goes

1. What do you watch or read during me-time? I love to watch the Boondocks or sometimes watch a romantic movie on Netflix. When I'm not doing that I'm reading Twilight, (don't judge me I like a little fantasy).

2. What do you wear during me-time?#nobra. I'm usually in an oversized shirt and undies or sometimes pajamas.

3. What are your me-time beauty products? Noxzema Classic clean deep cleansing cream ( that was a mouthful).

4. Current favorite nail polish? I don't have one.

5. What do you eat/drink during me-time? I usually enjoy a glass of Moscato or an Apple-Rita from Budweiser.

6. Current favorite candle? Fresh Linen or anything from Bath and Body Works.

7. Do you ever have outdoor me-time? Nope I love my house.

8. Would you ever go see a movie alone? I sure would as long as it's not a horror film.

9. Favorite online shop? Forever 21/ Asos.

10. Anything to add? What else do you do during me-time? Listen to music.

OOPS!!! I DID IT AGAIN

Hey ladies and gents!!! As you can tell by my title, I did something that I wasn't suppose to do. What is that you might ask, I do some shoe shopping again. This time around they are all for the winter which is my best excuse that I could come up with lol they were not all purchased all at once but between the month of September and October. Here are some pictures of my purchases! My first one Is from Aerosoles, its called Baltimore in Navy Blue. The second pair is from JustFab, called Kristianne in Black Third pair was purchased from Journey's, Timberlands Ladies 6" boots And Last my first time ever getting a pair of UGGs off of Shoes.com they are sooo freaking comfy omg.

Warby Parker

Hey ladies and gents!!!

So the other day I was looking for some new glasses and stumbled upon this website called Warby Parker. They have such an amazing collection of glasses that I didn't know what to choose. As I was looking for the right pair of glasses that would fit my fun personality, I saw that they had a button called home try-on. I clicked the button and it informs that I can choose 5 pairs of frames and see which one I like and after I choose those 5 they send it to you for a dollar. In order for that dollar to be charged of course you have to have a debit or credit card. So any who, I put in for my 5 top frames to come to me and here they are:

My favorite one so far is Nash, which my boyfriend thinks it looks like the one I already own but I bed to differ, but when I do choose the one I like I will let you lovely people know.

Night Time Routine

Hey ladies and gents!!!

So last night I came home from hanging with my famiy and as I was getting ready to take off my eye makeup, I figured I would just show you my night time routine. My routine is not a lot or rigorous, but simple. I took a picture of my face before I took my makeup off

I also put on this satin bonnet to keep my hair out of my face. Next I apply my Noxzema all over my face for about 5 minutes.

 

After I apply, I brush my teeth and get my bath ready. While I'm in the bathtub I rinse my face with cool water, I tend not to dry my face just let it air dry. After i air dry I use Aveeno moisturizing lotion on my face

Now I'm all done and ready for bed!!
